After 27 years, Zwecker Transport continues to future-proof its operations with HaulTech’s software solutions.
Based out of Armagh, Northern Ireland, Zwecker Transport offer complete freight management solutions. Specialising in temperature-controlled and ambient goods logistics, the haulier expanded its services throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. To help their expansion, Zwecker became an early adopter of the Transport Management System, 28 years ago. Zwecker’s ability to adapt to changing customer needs and operational challenges is one factor behind its continued success. As a part of their continuous growth, the haulier decided to upgrade their HaulTech software solution with the multi-award-winning In-Cab e-POD app and Customer Service Portal (CSP).
HaulTech’s In-Cab solution is allowing Zwecker to continue adapting. With a predominantly subcontracted workforce, the iOS and Android compatible app provides real-time in transit and arrival notifications to keep back-office staff updated on completed jobs, allowing them to invoice faster and more efficiently. James Zwecker, Managing Director of Zwecker Transport commented on the functionality of the e-POD app, “HaulTech’s app allows us to work smarter and faster, meaning we can keep on top of work and deal with it instantaneously.”
The haulier is also going to benefit from HaulTech’s Customer Service Portal. This platform will allow Zweckers customers to upload work, track their delivery and access delivery photos and signatures taken from the e-POD app. The easy-to-use platform completes the trifecta of HaulTech’s software products and creates a fully automated system that enhances and future-proofs the haulier’s operations. The end-to-end system has allowed Zwecker to excel and complete jobs in 40% of the time it would take an average haulier. The Managing Director mentioned, “without the system, we wouldn’t be as successful as we are today, it is a weapon every haulier should have in its arsenal.”
