Starting out life as a training company, the general haulage services of Velocity Transport Solutions launched in 2016. Velocity offer a complete haulage service, predominately in the North East of England, offering collection and delivery services across the UK. Rapid growth has seen the company expand to a fleet of 13 tractor units. Thanks to this continued growth, contracted work sees some of the fleet running 24 hours a day and increased job security for the operation and its drivers.

Driver and delivery paperwork, in-cab signature capture (with electronic PODs) and integration into all major accounting software programs (including Sage, Xero and QuickBooks) are just some of the features of the system. Simultaneously fleet operators can increase and extend customer connectivity through HaulTech’s online customer service portal (CSP). The CSP gives the haulier’s customers visibility of the work that is being completed for them whilst being able to access crucial documentation they need from the comfort of their own office.
