Bedford-based P Lack Haulage benefit from a reduction in administration time after moving from their paper-based processes to a tech alternative.
The Bulk haulier was established in 2011 by director Phil Lack at the age of 22. Operating a fleet of 6 vehicles, including subcontractors, the company supply topsoil, sharp and building sand, decorative stone, limestone and golden gravel.
As a smaller, family-run haulier the burden of operations fell on all members of the team to assist wherever they could. Working from a large paper-based workbook in his lorry, Phil spent the majority of his evenings and weekends continuing to work in order to keep on top of the transport admin side of the business.

This eliminates the delay to invoicing caused by waiting for a driver to return their paperwork at the end of the day. Invoices can now be raised and sent within seconds, either via email or hard copy dependent on their customer’s needs, with all the relevant paperwork and signatures attached.
