B I Halder is using HaulTech’s Transport Management System to assist them with TASCC audits and compliance.
B I Halder has been providing haulage services to the agricultural sector for over 50 years. The bulk haulier is based in East Yorkshire and has continued to expand since its inception in 1969. They have over 30 vehicles, which operate nationwide. The company are a part of the Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops (TASCC), which is dedicated to ensuring the responsible treatment of crops during transportation. As part of their commitment to TASCC, B I Halder must adhere to strict guidelines and pass audits. To assist them in their compliance, the bulk hauliers use HaulTech’s Transport Management System (TMS).
According to Managing Director of B I Halder, Lousie Halder, the TMS provides a “second to none” service for TASCC hauliers. The Trade Assurance Scheme requires members to evidence previous loads, before carrying crops. HaulTech’s multi-award-winning software provides the evidence hauliers need to prove their adherence to the scheme by allowing them to search for previous loads simply and efficiently. The system also stores sub-contractors certification documentation for audit compliance. Louise commented on the traceability of the system, “the software has helped us to prove our compliance multiple times, without it, we would have to spend so much time sorting through paperwork to find the correct documents”.
HaulTech’s software also allows TASCC compliant hauliers to link trailer and TASCC related job identity numbers through a single point of data entry for faster work planning. This allows companies like B I Halder to do their administration work in 40% of the time. Louise mentioned the efficiency of the system “allows us to work so much faster and accurately, audits are no issue for us whilst using HaulTech.”
