The HaulTech engineering team were onsite with Browns Distribution this week. We’ve been busy installing 3G enabled Vehicle CCTV cameras to Browns’ new MAN trucks that were supplied by Beech’s Garage in Stoke on Trent.
Browns have been a HaulTech customer and advocate for over 15 years and utilise many of the company’s products including Transport Management Software (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
As a proactive haulier Browns wanted to extend their vehicle tech to greater support their drivers, vehicles and insurance premium – upgrading from legacy SD card forward-facing cameras to a 3G enabled hard drive system was a great option. Their truck camera tech enables the Browns team to access recordings that go back over a month whilst retrieving real-time and/or historic footage can be done at the touch of a button via the transport office PCs and HaulTech’s smartphone app.
Following a minor road incident in Essex just 2 days after installation the new system proved its worth when video footage was retrieved within minutes and sent to Browns’ insurers to support their claim.
