We are honoured to receive a Ta Duck award from the Alice Charity.
The Alice Charity provides support to the most vulnerable families in the Stoke-on-Trent area during times of crisis. The wonderful team of volunteers are seeking to break the cycle of poverty in the local community by providing emergency food supplies, family support and even school uniform and equipment to those in need.
Since inception the Alice Charity has reached significant milestones – supporting over 5000 families on a range of levels. But it’s not a time for standing still, and the charity are seeking added help and support from the business community to help them reach even more families. And at HaulTech we are hugely proud to support and champion them, and humbled by the superb work they do in, and for, our community.
One of HaulTech’s 2019 goals was to get more actively involved in local charities to help them make a real difference in areas where support really is needed. That’s why we chose The Alice Charity. HaulTech’s Executive Director Clare Chidlow, who attended the ceremony on Friday 12th April stated “We chose The Alice Charity because they have a huge impact on helping struggling families, including single parents. They support vulnerable families over a period of time, to develop both independence and resilience, in periods of difficulty”.
“We are delighted to receive this award in recognition of our support. However, we are simply honoured to be assisting the Alice Charity to make a difference” Clare went on to add.
