Mike Ponsonby launched M A Ponsonby in 2003 in succession to his predecessor’s and grandfathers haulage company D.J. Ponsonby LTD. M A Ponsonby took inspiration from its family legacy and specialise in moving heavy plant machinery. At their inception, the Lichfield-based haulier launched with just 1 truck, however, in their 19 years of business the company has seen tremendous growth and now with run 15 Scania trucks and 30 trailers. Yet this expansion also welcomed new problems, the company were still operating using an outdated method of admin.
