Collins Earthworks Ltd is an earthworks company that runs alongside sister company EnviroTrac Ltd, based in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. For over 20 years the well-renowned company has successfully grown. The Transport department has a fleet of over 60 vehicles, this consists of road sweepers, tippers & low loaders, all of which helps them to distribute over 750,000 tonnes of aggregates, 550,000 tonnes of muck away, and over 7000 movements of heavy plant machinery each year. The company is constantly evolving their services to support its clients. As a part of their evolution, Collins has begun to use HaulTech’s Transport Management System and In-Cab app to enhance its operations.

The In-Cab signature capture app allows Collins drivers to evidence the delivery of products by getting the customers to sign on their handset or by taking a photo of the delivery. Photos and signatures are then time, date and location stamped to further evidence the delivery was dropped off in the right location at the correct time. Not only will drivers benefit from evidencing their delivery but back-office staff will receive instant notifications of the delivery allowing them to act fast and invoice efficiently rather than waiting for a paper pod to return to the office.
